THE WORLD OF THE SUBCONSCIOUS IN A SPACIOUS POSTER
Master thesis from the exhibition "Diploma 2016", Paviljon u Tvrđavi, Niš

Inspired by Sigmund Freud's sentence "A dream represents a fulfillment of wishes", I have chosen dreams as the main motive of my master's thesis. Dreams represent a significant part of life and our daily functioning. They are not just vague and disconnected images of the mind but can guide and direct us and give us answers to questions that the conscious part of our personality cannot deal with. I didn't show the posters just as two-dimensional messages, but as physical objects that enter the field of art installation. The posters were created by photographing the shadow of the models moving in front of the wall, creating scenes reminiscent of the dream events. The shadows on the posters represent the subconscious, which is the other side of consciousness sometimes hidden, but always following us.

The project consists of 18 posters in a vertical position, with dimensions of 100x70 centimeters. Twelve posters are printed on photo paper, and six on self-adhesive film applied on Plexiglas plates, which, because of their lightness and transparency, floating in space are associated with transients of dream.
In addition to posters, the project also consists of a mock-up of a bed made of cardboard and 12 black figures, also made of cardboard, that represent my vision of the symbols from the dream book.
