In spring of 2023 I was invited to eastern Turkey twice to create social media content for a restaurant and holiday retreat in the building phase. The reels should communicate the rough vibe on the building site and the beautiful landscapes around it.

However, over time it became more and more obvious that my friend Deniz, the mastermind behind the project, and his efforts and adventures to make everything possible, are the real protagonists.

Therefore, I started to film both, the project for advertising the new restaurant, and a documentary about Deniz and the absurdity of his day to day.
