As part of a creative initiative, the intern led the concept design for sports coaching, incorporating innovative ideas and approaches to enhance athlete development and performance.

Phase 1.0 (Concept Define)

Before proceeding with the concept design phase, we conducted a concept definition stage to emphasize specific aspects and establish a clear direction. During this stage, we focused on identifying key features, user needs, and design objectives. We also explored various themes and ideas to ensure that the concept aligns with the product’s purpose and target audience. By defining the core principles and goals of the concept, we laid the foundation for a coherent and purposeful design process.

“Sole” is a general term encompassing the outsole, midsole, and insole of a shoe. Among them, the insole plays a crucial role as it is the part that directly contacts the foot inside the shoe, primarily responsible for cushioning and shock absorption.

개념 설계 단계를 진행하기 전에 구체적인 측면을 강조하고 명확한 방향을 설정하기 위한 개념 정의 단계를 진행했습니다. 이 단계에서는 주요 특징, 사용자 요구 및 설계 목표를 파악하는 데 중점을 두었습니다. 또한 다양한 주제와 아이디어를 탐색하여 개념이 제품의 목적 및 목표 고객과 일치하는지 확인했습니다. 개념의 핵심 원리와 목표를 정의함으로써 일관되고 목적이 있는 설계 과정의 토대를 마련했습니다.

'깔창'은 신발의 겉창, 중창, 깔창을 총칭하는 말입니다. 이 중 깔창은 신발 내부의 발과 직접 닿는 부분으로 쿠션감과 충격 흡수를 주로 담당하기 때문에 중요한 역할을 합니다.

Phase 2.0 (Thumbnail sketch)

We started by setting the design direction to prioritize functional emphasis and suitability for sports. Then, we proceeded to create thumbnail sketches to explore various design concepts.

스포츠에 대한 기능적 강조와 적합성을 우선시하기 위해 디자인 방향을 설정하는 것으로 시작했습니다. 그런 다음 다양한 디자인 컨셉을 탐색하기 위해 썸네일 스케치를 제작했습니다.

Phase 3.0 (Detail Sketch)

During the sketching phase, we considered both the form and color aspects of the design. We focused on creating an insole structure that can effectively support the foot, providing balance and stability within the shoe. Additionally, we carefully selected color schemes that complemented the overall design concept while ensuring that the insole design remains visually appealing.

스케치 단계에서 우리는 디자인의 형태와 색상 측면을 모두 고려했습니다. 신발 안에서 균형과 안정감을 제공하면서 발을 효과적으로 지지할 수 있는 깔창 구조를 만드는 데 중점을 두었습니다. 또한 깔창 디자인이 시각적으로 매력적으로 유지되도록 하면서 전체적인 디자인 개념을 보완하는 색상 구성을 신중하게 선택했습니다.
