I am Lestari, and I currently working as a footwear designer under Amanda Jane's brand. Amanda Jane's is the sister brand of Be-Bob, a female local footwear brand from Bandung Indonesia. They have manufactured, distributed, and sold their product for over a decade and still growing. You can find their product at the department store chain in your city (except Kalimantan and Sulawesi), they also sell online through e-commerce.
While working for Amanda Jane's, I did some designs for Be-Bob. While Amanda Jane targets young women who target adult women with the typical range of sandals, slippers, and flats. Some of my designs were approved but the rest were declined, it could be because of internal issues or external issues, such as material availability, production ability, and marketing needs.

I designed a laser-cut pattern for sandal upper, the laser-cut design inspired by beautiful Asoka flowers that has sweet nectar. We did trial and error during the laser cutting process until we finally found the right combination so the laser-cut pattern did not damage the material.
I also applied a fabric manipulation technique on the upper to create a 3D impression that makes the sandal more attractive. The fabric manipulation technique requires precision and persistence to get good results.

I also designed a monogram logo for Be-Bob, the brief was it should be arranged as the Loewe logo. This one was declined.
I designed a monogram logo for the Be-Bob outsole, sometimes we need to take a little refresh to add in our design.
