‘Dibreh Ya Deilah’ (Daily Bread)

"My work is a constant search for the best way to interpret the ideas that i have about my environment, worldly events and myself. I like to think that i am able to successfully digest and reflect souls, life stories and the status quo through my art highlighting issues such as social stereotypes and global events. My paintings are developed from a series of sketches that i made routine to produce everyday titled ‘Dibreh Ya Deilah’ urban swahili slang that translates to ‘daily bread’  traditionally done on brown paper to mimic the crust of bread.
