I had prepared this booklet as an assignment to express the objective, the process and the outcome of the Anti-Quad project that we, as first year students, had prepared together with the course instructors for the end of the academic year as a part of my architectural education at Istanbul Technical University.
This project, consisting of exhibition, stage and projection sections, which we designed and built to create a new interpretation of Samuel beckett's play QUAD on light and percussion, maintains its importance in my architectural education as it offers the opportunity to examine architecture, light, sound, movement, space relations through an art form such as theater and modern art movements.
