I am proud to showcase the new branding identity created for Native Land Institute, an organization committed to promoting economic, environmental, and social justice for indigenous communities in the Southwest.

 The institute was founded by a member of the Acoma tribe, and my inspiration for the creation of the logo was drawn from the ancestral connections to Mesa Verde and a geometrical pattern that feels native to the Southwest. The Puebloan people have been using geometrical shapes for hundreds of years in their woven textiles and pottery designs, and these designs can still be seen today in the Pueblos of New Mexico and Hopi.
