For this project, we are to create 7 images in Photoshop that all represent a distinct, creative strategy using a common household object as the focus for the image. For my object, I went with a lamp. This project is all about thinking creatively, so by taking something like an ordinary lamp, you can turn it into something extraordinary with Photoshop. 

The combination strategy focuses on mixing different things to create something new, while keeping the main idea in focus.

This is about putting surprising things together to create a contrast. The goal is to shock the viewer by highlighting differences between the objects. But like combination, it is still maintaining the integrity of the item.

By directing the viewer’s attention to a specific item, it is set apart from its surroundings or other objects.

This focuses on the meaning of the image created with the object.

With this strategy, there is a contrast with the objects being in an unnatural environment.

This strategically focuses on the physical shape of an object and how it can be almost identical to another.

This strategy changes the material out with the object of choice.
