This is the first project of my interior design career at SCAD where I used the resource room. There are a lot of neat materials in there, and I can’t wait to dig in more. For this project I had to find a product, specifically a synthetic textile, and research “green” qualities about it. This fabric was so luxurious and velvety and one of the few fabrics that I could find an in room example of online. Although it isn’t the most “green” product, it does have some great “green” qualities. However, to install it here in Atlanta, GA it would take a lot of embodied energy to ship it.
