In the summer of 2023 I took part in an illustration competition. The task was to develop a series of covers for a limited edition of classic literature. I wanted to experiment and create something really different from what we see on bookshelves in shops.
I decided to draw a bit abstract flat illustrations with references to book plots. I used a limited color pallet so that the integrity of the series could be quickly read through color.
I ended up with three book covers.
