The Story...

Sometimes I get lucky and am given a lot of freedom when it comes to my work. Trauma by Alleviate was such a case.
The band only knew that their release would be called Trauma and wanted me to interpret it however I wanted.

I wanted to visualize trauma by showing a shattered whole, the feeling of being naked and exposed, and the fact that you just want to scream to deal with it. This was the main thought about the main piece of the artwork. While the rest of the artwork is a contrast representing the unknown, paranoia, and desperation.
