This is a two piece series of hand drew images that I created for self-fullfilment. I used a series of pens and a combination of stippling and hatching techniques. Both pieces are inspired by the 'Memento Mori' phrase, which means ' Remember that you will die ' . Both images portray a vermin form and a human form. My idea was to portray us as humans as these vermins that sometimes forget that our time here is limited. My final connotation was to remind us all that life is short and that we should live it to its fullest today, not tomorrow.
