I created a set of low and medium resolution characters
for the battle sequences in The Chronicles of Narnia.
These were loaded into the Massive simulations to
create the hoards of warrior creatures in the wide
shots. In additon, I modeled the ground terrain for the
battlefield based on Lidar scans taken in New Zealand.

I began the modeling and UV layout of the Rhino
character in Narnia early in the schedule. It was
based on reference of the real animal. Later in
the production, a more stylized design was
decided upon. Since I was doing work on The
Ring Two at the time, Modeler Craig Chun made
adjustments to the horns and face shape. He also
added some folds and body detail.
