Character Archetype Exercise: Fat, Cosmic Horror, Druid

Here I explored a few interpretations of the brief. Given the Druid prompt, I considered different versions of scary overgrown creatures, and settled on an uncanny deer man, intelligent, but not quite human. I imagine him as an ambush predator, waiting in the forest for unsuspecting travellers. 

Narrowing down druid staff design - I wanted it to feel naturally grown (not carved) but still shaped by intelligent hands. 

My first pass of the character. After feedback from my professor, I removed the loincloth, adjusted the physical build, and made the vines transition smoother into the feet/ground.
