This design has been conceptualized for an environmental law firm based in New Zealand that is to open an office in New York City. By incorporating elements of New Zealand’s unique landscape and beautiful culture into the interior scheme, the office will come to life as a space that honors the firm’s country of origin while inspiring its’ employees and clients to continue their work of preserving the environment in a New York setting. Design inspiration was taken from the colors of the beautiful native Tui Bird along with the unique geometries and aesthetic of the indigenous Maori people.
The 18,000 SF, two-story space is part of a larger existing commercial office building in NYC overlooking Bryant Park.
