The Voguish Suite
This avant-garde interior project fearlessly embraces creativity, exuding boldness and vibrancy. The unique space combines unconventional elements, from vivid color schemes to eclectic furniture, creating a visually arresting environment. Unafraid of pushing boundaries, it seamlessly blends art and design, showcasing a fearless approach that captivates with its originality. This artsy haven defies norms, inviting inhabitants to revel in a one-of-a-kind, dynamic living experience.
In this contemporary living room with a striking color scheme of black, white, and red, the design elements come together to create a bold and sophisticated atmosphere. The focal point of the room is a feature wall with black textured wallpaper, providing a dramatic backdrop for the sleek white leather sectional.
The sectional is adorned with black and white cushions, complemented by a standout red floral cushion and throw, adding a vibrant pop of color. The lounger of the sectional features a c-shaped red overlapping end table with a unique candelabra, creating a visually intriguing corner. The built-in tray in the lounger creates a space to store magazines and essentials, combining practicality with style.
In front of the sofa, a black organic-shaped coffee table finished in duco serves as a chic centerpiece. The table is meticulously styled with books and accessories organized in a tray, adding a touch of sophistication. It sits atop a black and white faux animal hide rug, adding texture and depth to the floor. Flanking the sofa are black and gold tall planters housing sleek snake plants, adding a touch of nature to the contemporary setting. Adjacent to the planters, a bold and abstract painting adds an artistic focal point.
On the other side of the living room, a pristine white painted wall and adjoining striped black and white wallpaper sets the backdrop for two comfortable grey armchairs. Each armchair is accompanied by a cocktail table, providing intimate spaces for relaxation and conversation. Between the armchairs, a unique dot chair adds a touch of modernity and visual interest.
In the dining room, a statement-making Dragnet dining table, by Kenneth Cobonpue, takes center stage, bringing a touch of organic sophistication with their woven design. The table features a striking red glass top that adds a bold splash of color to the space. Complementing the table are the Chiquita stools also designed by the Filipino designer, that are known for their lightweight and versatile design. Above the table hangs a metal pendant light, casting a warm glow over the dining area.
To enhance the visual appeal of the dining space, the table is accessorized with an organic sculpture, adding an artistic and natural element to the setting. Placing the dining table in front of a large mirror creates the illusion of a more expansive space, contributing to an open and airy atmosphere.
Adjacent to the dining area is a cozy parlour seating space, featuring a dynamic chaise lounge that invites relaxation. The lounge chair is placed on an animal hide rug, adding texture and warmth to the seating area. Tribal elements are introduced with rustic, handmade pots, placed in a corner with a modern floor lamp, creating a harmonious blend of contemporary and traditional aesthetics. An artwork made in thread, depicting a tribal lady captured by the lens of renowned tribal photographer Mario Gerth, adds a cultural and artistic touch to the space.
Completing the ambiance of the parlour is a large feature wall clock, becoming a focal point that adds character and functionality.
The balcony is an extension of the adjoining living room, creating a seamless transition with a sophisticated black, white, and red color scheme. A sleek black high table takes center stage, paired with eye-catching Yoda bar stools from Kenneth Cobonpue in a striking red hue. The entire seating arrangement is elevated on a black and white rug, adding a touch of pattern and comfort to the space.
One of the balcony walls is finished in black slate, creating a textured and elegant backdrop. A floating bar counter with open shelves is strategically placed, providing both functional and decorative elements. The counter is aesthetically accessorized, and cow-hide bar stools offer a contrasting and tactile seating option.
Large plants, such as Birds of Paradise and Travelers Palm, add a lush and tropical vibe to the balcony, creating a refreshing outdoor oasis. These plants not only contribute to the visual appeal but also offer a sense of natural privacy and a connection to the surrounding environment.
The sliding door leading from the living room to the balcony is adorned with a curtain in white with a black border, serving as a stylish feature and allowing for a touch of privacy when desired. This design choice complements the overall color scheme and ties the balcony seamlessly to the interior.
In this dreamy master bedroom, a soothing color palette of blues and teals creates a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The focal point of the room is the bed's backdrop, an exquisite masterpiece hand-painted by a skilled artist. The wall, painted in various shades of teal and turquoise, establishes the overall tone, evoking a sense of calmness and sophistication.
Upon this painted canvas, delicate floral branches in shimmering gold gracefully meander, adding a touch of nature and elegance. Two white and gold swans, positioned artfully, contribute to the room's romantic ambiance, their presence enhancing the overall aesthetic.
The bed takes center stage with its white leather upholstery, providing a luxurious and pristine focal point against the artistic backdrop. The bedding is adorned with a neutral beige bed cover and throw, complemented by an array of pillows in varying shades of teals and turquoise. The combination of textures and hues creates a harmonious and visually pleasing arrangement.
To allow the hand-painted wall to stand out, the bedside tables are kept neutral in color and design. These tables, unobtrusive yet stylish, provide functional surfaces without detracting from the artistic showcase. On each table sits an elegant hand-blown glass table lamp, casting a soft and warm glow that enhances the overall ambiance.
The final touch to the bed's styling is a carefully arranged tray. Positioned on the bed, it holds a set of delicate teacups and a teapot, inviting moments of relaxation. A book, thoughtfully chosen for quiet contemplation, rests alongside the tea set. This small arrangement adds a personal and inviting touch to the room, encouraging moments of repose and reflection in this beautifully curated space.
The extended seating area in this bedroom is a vibrant and eclectic haven, seamlessly continuing the enchanting color scheme of blues, teals, and turquoise. This space is dedicated to showcasing the client's personal collection and serves as a retreat within the larger bedroom.
One wall is adorned with a striking and elegant artwork featuring a lady with a blooming head. The vibrant colors of blues and teals in the painting harmonize with the overall theme, adding a touch of sophistication and visual interest to the space.
The entire setup is anchored by a beautiful flower-shaped rug, mirroring the floral design found in the artwork on one of the walls. This rug not only ties the elements together but also provides a comfortable and inviting space within the seating area.
On the opposite wall, a DIY installation captures attention – books creatively adhered to the wall to form a unique backdrop, complemented by dried flowers that infuse a romantic and whimsical atmosphere.
Taking center stage in this collection-focused zone are two Puzzle lounge chairs, their design echoing the artistic vibrancy of the room. Placed on either side of the chairs are black pyramid side tables, each adorned with elegant candle stands for an added romantic touch. Tall urns, blending seamlessly with the color scheme, stand proudly between the chairs, contributing to the overall visual appeal.
To create a sense of separation and intimacy, a tall lamp is strategically placed at the back of this extended seating space. Its warm glow not only adds to the overall ambiance but also serves to distinguish this area from the rest of the bedroom, creating a cozy and private nook within the larger, harmoniously designed room.
In this guest bedroom, the color scheme revolves around a captivating artwork that serves as the room's focal point. The abstract storm of shades of blues and pinks in the artwork sets the tone for a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
The bed takes center stage with its upholstery in a luxurious and vibrant royal blue velvet. The bed is adorned with a coral pink bed cover, adding a complementary burst of color. The layering of the bedding is thoughtfully curated, with neutral beige shams at the back, royal blue head pillows in front of the shams, and an accent decorative pillow placed at the extreme front for a pop of interest. Additionally, two throws in grey and blue add texture and coziness to the bed. A bed tray is placed, featuring coffee mugs, inviting guests to relax and enjoy their morning rituals.
Next to the bed, two wooden side tables with a dynamic curve design add a touch of modernity. On one side table, a table lamp with a natural drift wood base and a two-toned blue fabric shade illuminates the space. Two wooden pedestals with a dynamic shape hold blue planters housing vibrant green snake plants, bringing a refreshing and natural element to the room.
On the other side, the second side table features a driftwood picture frame, adding a rustic and personal touch to the decor. Next to the frame, a large Areca palm plant introduces a tropical and lush vibe, contributing to the overall serene ambiance of the guest bedroom. The combination of vibrant colors, dynamic shapes, and natural elements creates a visually appealing and comfortable space for guests to unwind and enjoy their stay.
