For this creative challenge, I was assigned to come up with a new university-style re-design of last year’s school shirt. I was only provided the school’s duck logo and the school’s name and establishment date. This simple yet classic design was created on Adobe Illustrator, where I was able to style the text to my liking and even apply a texture to the whole design. Because my time for this project was limited, it taught me to use my time wisely and become efficient in my work. It also gave me a feel for making actual shirt designs, as I was able to screen print it onto a shirt myself. Overall, I think this was a good quick project to get me into a real designer’s environment—that is, coming up with a design and being able to view my finished work.
