The hippo family has an old friend – the Jindo dog, a traditional Korean breed. Ha-do-ri and Ha-su-ni have been living with Jindo dogs since they were very young. Jindo dogs are on the larger side, with long legs and great speed. They come in various colors depending on the fur, but when people think of Jindo dogs, they often picture brown or white ones.

하마 가족에게는 오래된 친구가 있어요. 바로 한국 전통 강아지인 진돗개입니다. 하도리와 하수니가 아주 어릴 때부터 같이 살았어요. 진돗개는 덩치가 큰 편에 속하며 다리가 길고 아주 빨라요. 털 색에 따라 종류가 다양한데 보통 진돗개를 생각하면 갈색이나 흰색을 떠올려요.
