This project was centered around manipulating paper and creating interesting shapes and designs. I wanted to experiment with asymmetry since I often work solely in symmetry.
I played around with using symmetry as my base and working around it with different eye-catching shapes. I wanted to involve crinkling in this somehow so I tried adding and bending it to build onto the base form. I felt something was missing, so I added some simple shapes to show off some asymmetry and negative space.
