LARP CAMP-Animation (critical role)
This project is a paper puppet stop motion animation I did for animation class. the audio used is from critical role . It summarizes a man Brennen's experience at a Larp camp as a counselor. The film was shot in dragonframe in 12fps and in 1980 x1600 resolution.
BTS photos -I used watercolors and paper for my puppets and backgrounds .
I place the puppet down on the backgrouds for movement purposes
The close up puppets are very large over 8 inches , and mouths an eyes are created separately so they can be switched out for lip-synch and various emotions held by tape as to not destroy the paper.
characters whos bodies remain stagnate for closeup i painted directly on paper and only make the eyes ,mouth and arms moveable.
many parts of my paper puppets have studs for fluid movement .
