The following invitation was designed in inspiration of the prompt to create an event invitation with absolutely no images or illustrations, focusing only on typeface, hierarchy, and proximity. I chose to use varying typefaces to add personality and two strong colors to create contrast. In addition, I used a center alignment to make the design even, symmetrical, and appealing to the eye. The use of lines allows for a simple and subtle touch of organization. I created this invitation using Adobe InDesign only, and furthered my skills on the software. My concept of proximity, hierarchy, and organization of pieces as a whole has been significantly advanced through this project.
