I decided to take a spin on a normal cutting board and make it more visually appealing. This cutting board is made up of 9 pieces of wood, glued together, then sanded and stained and finally engraved and attached the metal heart. It is finished with mineral oil so the cutting board will not get dried out or cracked.

I had multiple friends try out this cutting board with multiple different knifes, cutting different fruits and then washing it to make sure it was not affected by water. It withstood all of the cutting and washing and did exactly what it should have. All of the users who tested it agreed that is was both functional and aesthetic. It was more visually pleasing to the eye than a regular cutting board with one stain.
