Heart of Southeast Asia

Heart of Southeast Asia (Malaysia)

Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country which plays a role in international trading due to its strategic position which earns the title of being the Heart of Southeast Asia

In the Heart of Southeast Asia logo itself, you may notice there are alphabets that resembles iconic objects or organisms, which are the H (Petronas Twin Tower), f (Keris) and S (Hornbill).

Notice that the Merdeka 118, Petronas Twin Tower and KL Tower are standing tall in a one point perspective. Both Petronas Twin Tower and KL Tower are considered the most iconic buildings in Malaysia and Petronas Twin Tower held as one of the tallest buildings in the world (Top 20). Right now, the Merdeka 118 tower holds the title of the tallest building in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, taller than the Petronas Twin Tower.

Different cultures were drawn in to showcase the diversity of Malaysia. The Hari Raya Aidilfitri's Green Ketupat, Chinese New Year's 福 (Fortune) Symbol, Deepavali's Oil Lamp and Gawai Dayak's Shield (Kaamatan has a Shield too).

Of course, no one can forget the Nasi Lemak. The well-know dish that almost every tourist and locals loves it. The peanuts, anchovies, cucumbers, rendang, chicken and eggs are usually seen in it.

Various colours (background colour and fireworks) were inserted in the design as well, to showcase how colourful Malaysia is and the unity of every race.
