Nipsey Hustle, Infographic Poster. For this project, we had to choose a person/character to do an infographic on. The infographic also had to include a portrait of the person/character. This was for my Concept Illustration class. The person I chose was the late rapper, Nipsey Hussle. Nipsey was known for his entrepreneurship, his community activism, and re-investing in his childhood neighborhood of Crenshaw, LA. Nipsey was unfortunately shot and killed in 2019. In this illustration, I have a traditional portrait of Nipsey that scanned and edited in Photoshop against a tie-dye like background. Around Nipsey is text in clouds about his accomplishments in his career and lifetime.
