Following the re-release of "Sarah and the House of Mysteries", I was requested to create the paperback version, which would include the full book design.
Since the previous book cover created required no changes, I worked on creating the rest of the illustration that would extend to the back of the book.
For the book design, I began by creating a presentation page, which included the Editorial logo, the book title and the author's name.
To further distinguish the paperback from the eBook edition, I created illustrated numbers for every chapter, as it was decided that the book required a little visual whimsy (since it would not include illustrations, due to elevated printing costs).
After the front and back illustrations were completed, I added all the elements of the finished paperback, including the final text on the back (provided by the client).
I tested the design on the publishing platform to make sure it complied with all its requirements for printing and publication.
The book was printed and are now available in paperback and eBook versions.
In addition, promotional material was created (bookmarks, printed ads, social media ads, etc.) following the same visual style of the book cover.
