Above, the final image, slightly altered the colour balance and tweaked a few parts of the face I wasn't happy with.

Part 1: Just trying to get basic composition and scale. I tend to work at an angle so most drawings will start off a little narrow but once I get the base down I can start to stretch/liquify parts to get the base form.

Part 2: Getting more of the shape and main tones. The forehead and mouth area were a challenge for me to get right so just outlined the basics and worked on them.

Part 3: Was getting happier with where it was going. Didn't want to detail the shirt or hair too much as  wanted the focus to be on the face. Started blending tones together
