Myer Fashion Launch
Myer holds a bi-annual Fashion Launch, to introduce new collections from approximately 30 designers to the national media.
This event is the main PR activity of the season.
While this event was traditionally a large scale runway, in recent years it has evolved to become a more premium experience.
Mixing fine dining, unique venues, dance and live music.
My role in these events is to assist the National Event Manager in executing the event by working closely with our production and design suppliers, styling team and choreographer.
As well as representing the brand in ensuring the guest dining experience is to a high standard, with selection of food and beverage to be served.
As a flagship brand event, the project always contains a strong digital component to provide access and coverage to a wider audience.
My involvement in this has been to lead the project team to live stream the event on our website between 2012 and 2015, and there on enabling all digital and social media projects related to the event, including Periscope and Facebook Live broadcasts.
