Photojournalism: Baptism of Robert Ko

"Oh Darwin, what a coincidence you bring a camera Could you help me documenting the baptism?", said Mrs. Esther. I was surprised back then because Theresia only assign me to join the choir. Without any preparations, I dare to take that offers. Using Nikon was not my speciality since I used to take pictures with Canon products. Even Mrs. Jeanny Ko asked me to compile them into an album.
Robert Ko and Jeanny Ko were married nearly 20 years ago. They didn't share a same belief back then. Jeanny was raised in a Catholic family while Robert was Buddhist. Both are devout followers of their belief.
They never asked their daughter and twin sons to follow their belief. Surprisingly all of their children decide to follow their mother's path. Her husband feels very happy to see their kids growing up in a good way following the path they belief. For years, every sunday morning Robert always accompanies them to church. He felt very ironic whenever his family go for holy communion, what he could did was sitting patiently. It was a shame for him as a head of his family for his incompetence to guide them in spiritual aspect.
When Robert tells his wife he would like to become a Catholic, she did not believe what he has said. On 24 April 2014, her tears was flowing like water on Robert's head. What he said was not a bluff rather a bless. In the name of God, he born again as a new person.
In the love of God, He let them meet each other once again as one through His flesh and blood.
There are many reasons behind overflowing tears. For Jeanny, her tears means unstoppable happiness after 20 years of calling her husband in every prayer.

Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. Written on John 20 : 29.
