Youth Hospital is a collection of AI generated photos based around a curated seed images. These images are paired to generate unique visual interoperations of the dominate traits in each photo. Feeding that newly created image back into our input we slowly create a specific vision.

Below is an example of how these were generated starting with a found baby photo and a fractal image on the far right. This was mixed again to increase the fractals patterns, and visual shapes. Then finally I mixed vintage hospital photos, and it's that theme that carries the rest of the visual output.

The results give this eerie vision of a strange organic medical center run by these ghostly children. The monochromatic look with a hint of orange was a very unexpected visual style that carries throughout the work.

Unsure if the children control the strange machines or the machines control them, but it's a very symbiotic mix of unusual visions. It amazes and surprises me how these images slowly form from a single visual concept.

The blank stairs and ghostly faces seem haunting, as well as the odd machinery. This type of image generation is my favorites, and usually is created by fragmented images, glitchy pictures and rough photoshop edits. As the neural networks use data those weird glitches and finds patterns to create these abstract forms into people.
