BITCOIN ORIGINS or BTCO is an NFT project created for NFT Genius inc, released through 2020 - 2021 in the Wax Blockchain. BTCO aims to tell Bitcoin's history in an educational and engaging way through art and a treasure hunt ran by a mysterious figure who calls themselves GITM. Clues for "The Hunt" are hidden within the cards and project's website. This whole story is meant to be told within a 15 chapter series.
I was tasked with creating all visual assets for BTCO, which includes logos, character design, virtual packaging and collectible cards. Currently, BTCO consists of more than
70 unique art pieces and has also spawned a spinoff PFP collection and franchise
called Rebel Rabbits, based on characters featured on these cards, which have
also expanded into comic books.
