THE HERBS | Packaging design



THE HERBS is a young brand of healthy products.

Task
It was necessary to develop a corporate identity, that conveys the naturalness and benefits of ingredients (herbs mainly) and is not tied to a specific category. It was also necessary to develop a packaging design for THE HERBS herbal drinks. The design should reveal the values of the product and tell about the composition.

Solution
LOGO
The font for the logo was drawn. It is based on three widths, which set dynamics and contrast. There are also streamlined, “safe” shapes, combined with sharp corners. This highlights the diversity of herbs: pointed stems, leaves and petals, intertwined in harsh and flowing forms. The main focus is on HERBS, "THE" merges with the first letters of HERBS and is presented as a graphic element.
PACKAGE
The main emphasis in packaging design is on the natural composition of the drinks. Therefore, the key ingredients of the composition were placed on the front part. A color code has also been introduced to simplify navigation and infographics, that reveal the features of the drink.
It was suggested to use maximum packaging space to tell the story of the product. So, we added a top label that goes down on the side edges. It talks about the dosage and emphasizes the concentration of the drink.
The back of the label contains technical text, infographics about benefit, as well as brand message. This makes the brand more soulful.
