This project centers around a 3D model of a classic VW Beetle, commonly known as a "Vocho," which once served as taxis in Mexico City during its time as the Federal District or "DF". The aim was to craft a digital modeling piece paying homage to this iconic car of the Mexican capital.
This versatile 3D model, textured in Substance Painter, serves both as a nostalgic tribute to the iconic Vocho taxis of Mexico City and as a functional asset suitable for use in video games or animations, thanks to its dual low and high poly versions
Infused with a sense of nostalgia, this project seeks to preserve the memory of the once-ubiquitous Vocho taxis that were emblematic of Mexico City's streets. Through meticulous modeling and realistic texturing in Substance Painter, the project captures the essence of this cultural icon.
The Vocho model was meticulously created, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy in both its low and high poly versions. Substance Painter was employed to apply authentic textures, enhancing the model's realism and nostalgic appeal.
The project concludes with a meticulously textured 3D model of the Vocho, ready for use as an asset in video games or animations. Both low and high poly versions are available for seamless integration into various projects.
