Film Box is a lab by photographers, for photographers. Located in Nashville, Tennessee, this company stands as one of the foremost developers of film and promoters of the film community. The world moves towards the digital age but looks back to the nuances of the analog world. Film Box was founded upon the idea that film's slow, particular nature actually demands a higher quality of attention and artistry.
I approached this identity with an awareness that the design should reflect the analog nature of film while still retaining a touch of sophistication. Furthermore, I built the website to emulate the horizontal sliding of film negatives. What followed was a logo reflecting the iconic look of film cameras, and a cohesive yet airy identity.
