A luxury hotel had opened a hotel infused with Art Deco themes, and wanted their stationary to reflect their unique selling point, and also to create unity between the hotel and what their outgoing stationary was. They wanted a logo with a graphic, as well as a support graphic that could be applied in many different formats throughout their hotel. They wished to attract upper-middle business men and women that would be visiting Sydney. I decided to use the structured lines found in metalwork in buildings and windows from the time, and apply them in rich, luxurious colours such as black, silver and gold.
