This was just an attempt to get some thoughts out of my head and have it come to fruition. I have always seen the nuyorican poets cafe logo as unrefined, but at the same time a quintessential NYCs (Loisiada), Lower East Side feel. I wanted it to feel more hisotric and resemble the artwork of cuban cigars.
