Poster and Fundraising brochure for Connecticut State Museum of Natural History

Our dynamic team of consultants and exhibit designers joined forces to craft both content and renders for this project. As for myself and Victoria Luque, we were the dreamers behind the "Natural Textures" concept.

Drawing inspiration from Connecticut's lush natural landscapes, we've immersed ourselves in the intricate patterns of leaves, the delicate veins on petals, and the rugged bark of native trees. These textures are more than just eye candy; they're a gateway to experiencing Connecticut's natural splendor through the pages of our brochure.
Our concept mirrors the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History's innovative spirit, seamlessly fusing time-honored traditions with a contemporary aesthetic. It's a dance between the past, present, and future.
Think clean lines, fluid shapes, and harmonious compositions – a visual language that mirrors the museum's dedication to positive change. We've struck a delicate balance between tradition and innovation, a testament to the dynamic evolution of natural history.

Typography isn't just text; it's a vessel for our message, carrying the weight of our words and ideas. In our concept, we embrace bold, expressive typography, infusing life into every word and phrase. Through carefully selected typefaces, we amplify the impact of our message, captivating the reader's attention and imagination. Typography, in itself, becomes an art form, inviting the viewer to delve deeper into the narrative.

In a nutshell, our "Shapes of Nature" concept for the fundraising brochure is a window into the exciting future of the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History. It blends natural textures, contemporary design, and a mix of bold and classy typography. It's a shared journey toward a better world where art's living spirit finds its truest expression within the museum's walls.
