Botanical Book Unfolded
My personal project is an endeavor to recreate the ambiance of vintage nature books. This project harmoniously
blends distinctive elements: png images of Scabiosa flowers and a font combination that incorporates elements
of antiqua and grotesque.
The project's objective was to create a visual experience that transports the viewer to the past when botanical books were treasures of knowledge about the plant world. Each detail of the project has been designed with an emphasis
on reproducing the sensation of aged, worn pages from an old book while preserving its character and essence.
To create an engaging contrast between the old and the modern world, I introduced a playful element in the form
of a GIF image featuring sheep. This adds an unexpected focal point to my project.
