The concept for a hypothetical collection by HERMÈS originated from the technique of Frottage, in which the artist uses a pencil or drawing tool to create "rubbings" on paper over a textured surface, resulting in a monotype - a unique drawing. The aesthetic result was achieved through synthetic drawings reminiscent of monotypes and their unique and exclusive appearance, closely aligned with the brand's concepts and its products.
