This project was designed in our professor's guidelines of using just type and limited colors and font usage. We were to show our knowledge of alignment and proximity. I wanted to still have my project catch the eye, so I looked for inspiration and saw something like this. I aligned the 2 and 8 close together with the "class of" to grab attention and made it so the 8 would guide the eye to the rest of the information and grouped the announcement separately from the when and where. I also thought it would be a creative way of doing the "class of". I believe the information was broken up the right way and flowed well. I choose a blue background because darker blues are popular when it comes to graduation invitations. Thats also why I went with a more gold lettering.
