The film poster aims to raise awareness of how detrimental stress can be to people’s mental health and physical well-being. This horror-themed movie then links to the sleep mist product produced to relieve stress.  

The product packaging has a more peaceful approach as the concept of this product is to help prevent sleep paralysis as well as boost the sales in the movie promotion.

The inspiration behind this project was the ‘Jaackmates Happy Hour’ podcast, specifically the episode he interviewed a sleep expert and neuroscientist. The topic of sleep paralysis stemmed from the title belief, and the experiences of seeing supernatural beings, demons, and ghosts during this state of mind. The ‘frozen’ title on the poster is a description of a common symptom of sleep paralysis and how you struggle to move during this period. I wanted to engage teenagers and offer support as it is most common amongst this age group.
