HMI DESIGN FOR CHINA NATIONAL IMPORT EXPO 2022

At the 2022 CIIE, Unity Technologies showcased the cutting-edge HMI Design which was developed in collaboration with the studiokurbos design studio. studiokurbos designed a virtual showcar for this 3D HMI system and participated in the HMI design tasks led by the Unity HMI team.” The infotainment demo takes automotive design to new heights by leveraging the power of 3D interfaces and Unity's real-time rendering capabilities.

3D INTERFACES AND REAL-TIME RENDERINGS

Benefitting from the powerful real-time rendering capabilities of Unity's Application Generator, the developed intelligent cockpit system enables complete 3D interaction within automotive HMIs. From the immersive 360° view around the vehicle to the seamless integration with smart home systems, this approach enhances the user experience by providing seamless connectivity and an enhanced sense of reality.

USER INTERFACE FOCUSED AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN

We approached this project with a holistic perspective, aiming to create a vehicle design that harmonizes aesthetics and functionality. A virtual show car was designed to frame and highlight the user interface. The focus remains on providing a user-centered experience. With meticulous attention to detail, we crafted an environment that elevates the driving experience and facilitates a seamless connection between the driver and the vehicle's advanced features.

INTELLIGENT ELECTRIC VEHICLES

As intelligent electric vehicles gain popularity, the very nature of cars is evolving from mere transportation machines to becoming a third space between home and workplace. Consequently, the role of the HMI (Human Machine Interface) and the communication between humans and machines becomes increasingly vital.
