"Honey" is a piece that was inspired by a poem about missing home in Mexico. I decided to use honey as the main focus because of the "home sweet home" feeling that I got from reading this poem. The home in the background was used from a photo of a home in Mexico while the wasps are Mexican Honey Wasp. I used 2 complimentary colors: purple and yellow, and blue and orange with the addition of white nupastels.
