This trend book is inspired by the Autumn/Winter 2020/2021 trend forcast in WGSN titled “CONSIDERED COMFORT” The trend book is a collective work by 7 fashion designer that build a major trend titled "SAFE AND SOUND". Each designer must create their own sub-trend that embodies the feeling of Safe and Sound based on the keywords and colour palette of the major trend.
The tone for this trend was divided into 2, the sunny tone and the rainy tone. The inspiration was one could seek comfort in both sunny days and rainy days. This trend is catered to design fashion around the feeling of being safe and sound in any weather.
"SERENADE OF THE RAIN"
The sub-trend was made to convey the feeling of coziness and finding warmth on a rainy day. This sub-trend is all about finding beauty in the darkness and embracing it. Oversized layered clothing with 'rainy tone' will be the main focus of this sub-trend.
