وهم الحقيقة - The Illusion of Truth
This is a small project I worked on following the Arabic Script for Digital Lettering course by Wael Morcos on Domestika.
For the final project, we were challenged to turn our digital lettering into an eye-catching poster.
I chose the phrase " وهم الحقيقة " which in English means " The Illusion of Truth ".
"The illusion of truth effect in psychology is the tendency to believe false information if it is repeated often enough
With repetition, it is easier for the human mind to process a statement relative to other competing ideas that have not been repeated.
Repetition is used everywhere to persuade people, in advertising, politics and the media, and it certainly works."
"Since illusions are often easier to produce, why bother with the truth?"
