Artist Statement
The project showcased below contains visuals to portray three important core memories I have made so far in life. To start the project, I jotted down my thoughts and explained the stories. The first story is about one of the many random roommates I’ve had and how she has become such a memorable person in my life to portray the story visually, I took a picture of her that I took this summer that captures her geunine smile and converted it to a drawing in photoshop. The second story was about how a family wedding this summer reunited many people I hadn’t seen for a long time and how we were able to catch up, but also explore Colorado together. The third story is about my most memorable moment in my sports career in High School and how I was able to share this moment with my teammates, who are still great friends to this day.

The three different stories contain many memorable people in my life, hence why I chose the book title name ‘Collaborate,’ these stories are important to me for the people involved in them, and the stories wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the important people in my life.
