'Architecture is just adornment for the land'
This mixed media architectural neck piece was inspired by Manchester and a bit of Birmingham too. The affected textiles represent the clouds, the swarovski beading, the stars in the night sky. The resin & metal focal piece is a birds-eye view of Picadilly Gardens. There's a representation of burgalar deterrents on people's walls, and the Birmingham bullring. The chains show the repetition of the paving stones, pipework and multi-storey car parks as well as all the shapes you encounter when walking around the city...
