Collecting and sharing unique ideas, design and inspiration from American culture and beyond...

ScoutX2 (scout-by-two) is a collaboration of two artists, via New York and Alabama. Our mission is to seek and extract the spirit of vintage goods. Inspired by American style and tradition, we integrate natural and refurbished materials to create modern, functional works of art. ScoutX2 handmade products honor the "timeless", speaking to a new aesthetic language of contemporary American design.

How it all began...
The design duo met while studying at the Rhode Island School of Design. Their sense of humor, shared love of native prints, old hollywood and travel has kept them close in touch beyond college. Their shared aspiration to design (and make) high-quality, functional products they’d use themselves, led them to launch ScoutX2 in 2013.
Makers of quality goods and scavengers of authenticity.

ScoutX2 (scout-by-two) introduces their debut collection of utilitarian bags. The products compose elements found in both urban and rural environments by merging simple geometry and natural materials. Black and tan color blocking keeps it professional, while branded minimal pattern adds a touch of folk. Waxed canvas, premium vegetable tanned US cowhide and solid brass hardware will endure as long as your personal style. Proudly handmade in the US.
