Modesty in Islam vs. Traditions

This project tackles the issue of modesty and Muslim women. Islam requires that women dress up in a modest way. That is very important. However Islam doesn't say that you have to wear black from head to toe in order to display modesty. Cat woman is dressed up in black, yet we all know that her costume is very provocative. Traditions and norms influence how a woman dresses too. For example, the burqaa, what covers half of a women's' face and reveals nothing but her eyes, is more of a traditional thing. A woman is not obliged to wear it.

What you see in the video is the word "haram" , taboo,  a sin that shouldn't be done forms the word "hishma", modesty, a requirement on Muslim women. And then the words, adaat/ taqaled, traditions and customs add a layer of complexity to cover up the first word. The whole purpose of this project is to show that traditions complicate simple things sometimes.
The Arabic word, Hishma modesty, fromed by the word, Haram, taboo.
The words Adaat and Taqaleed, traditions and customs, cover  it up.
