The Saker Falcon
These illustrations are part of a bigger project about the arteficial insemination of birds. For this project I illustrated the birds themselves, their skeletons, their urogenitalsystems and the process of the arteficial insemination executed by a team of veterinarians.
The new method of arteficial insemination was especially developed for very rare species like the Spix's Macaw. Nonetheless the method can be adapted to a lot of other birds.
