THE TRENDS OF ARCHITECTURAL EXPRESSION OF THE INTERMODAL TERMINALS
The newly-designed intermodal terminal has implemented the provisions of architectural trends formulated by the conceptual model. Different transportation modes, following the criteria established, have been joined in the land selected, indirect functions have been transferred to different buildings, cargo and passenger flows have been separated. The volume of the building has been divided in terms of composition, “green roofs” have visually connected the existing forest arrays. The intermodal terminal has melted into and improved the nearby environment.
